i posted this a few days ago.  10.2 will not recoginse my usb thumb
drive when i plug it in.  showing my ignorance, isn't the drive platform
independent?

how can i get this puppy to be seen and read?  i went into yast and did
a sysinfo check and the read out showed the drive connected, but i had
no graphical indication of it.

would some one lend a hand?
