I think this might already have become boring, so I'll make this my last comment on this subject. As one or two have pointed out, it is rather OT anyway, so perhaps I shouldn't have raised it at all.

Ysgrifennodd tleslie:

Their list might be rather generic, maybe there are a lot of MS people
on it, or people using both,
so you can assume the reference to "The only...."
was directed at brain dead MS users, you should just realize that and
move on.
Brain dead MS users are not going to start buying SUSE Linux, are they. So why direct comments like this in their direction? I can't actually imagine who they think is going to be impressed by such an "endorsement".
I see the Novell/MS deal as a trojan horse .... you are not happy that
you see the gift is given (as you perceive it), but if you wait and see
the outcome, you will be VERY happy. "Got to keep your friends close,
and your enemies closer".

All will be revealed to you in time ....

Sorry tl, I stopped buying that when I worked out that all the religious stuff they'd been telling me in school and chapel just didn't add up. I'm not about to fall for it again.

Anyway, no more from me on this.

Thanks for all the interesting replies (on both sides).

Peter
