Have you looked at the beagle logs to see what it's doing?

Also, try upgrading, the latest version's in my home repo on the build
service (http://repos.opensuse.org/home:/Riggwelter) and I'm pretty sure
Joe's got it in his repo too (http://repos.opensuse.org/home:/joeshaw).
