¡Surprise! You are right...

I created a symlink to /usr/lib/festival/audsp in ~/bin, and it worked...

It seems an overkill to change the path for a single file in that dir.
I'll make a permanent symlink somewhere in the path instead:

ln -s /usr/lib/festival/audsp /usr/bin/audsp
