hello :-)

until now (suse 9.0) the userdir directive of apache2 was
enabled by default. on my own server, http://domain/~login
open index.html in the user public_html directory.

I try to setup an apache2 server on an suse 10.0 machine.
say "mouette"

http://mouette

opens the /srv/www/htdocs/index.html

but

http://mouette/~login/index.html

gives 403 error.

on the two machines (9.0 and 10.0), permissions are the same
(read by all).

Apache config files are nearly the same on the two distros,
but not exactly. mod_userdir.conf seems identical.

ay idea?

thanks
jdd
