i recently read the announcement for the several samba updates in suse 10.

- Provide all Samba 3.0.20b sub packages as an update to
allow an update from the initial Samba version on SUSE
Linux 10.0 possible; [#165551].
- Don't assume account objectclass for eDir; [#160169].
- Fix LDAP replication sleep handling for search requests;
- Send correct workstation name to prevent
NT_STATUS_INVALID_WORKSTATION beeing returned in samlogon;
bnc [#148645].
- Create the precompiled headers with exactly the same flags
as the binaries.
- Allow to rename machine accounts. Fixed crash against
eDirectory, bnc [#140877]. - Return
NT_STATUS_ACCOUNT_DISABLED if eDirectory returns
- Ensure to be root while calling pdb_search_destroy(); else
we don't have enough permissions to do the last paged LDAP
- Store "sambaLogonHours" in GMT and display them in
localtime; bso [#3187].
- Cache the results more agressivly to stop multiple LDAP
searches; bnc [#134082].
- Allow anonymous printing to Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP
systems via unauthenticated ntlmssp session setup, bnc
- Improve performance when enumerating users from a LDAP
database; bnc [#134082].
- Add fix for quota on ext[23], reiserfs.

i canĀ“t see this changes in the release notes on the samba site.
interesting for me is the ability to change machine names and the performance increasments regarding ldap. where can i find detailed information about these changes?

thx in advance!
