Actually, that Whitepaper is out of date and is somewhat incorrect:
"• Expand SP29361.exe. Run SP29361.exe on a Windows machine to expand it."
Actually, one can use cabextract(1) to expand the service pack.
But, most of the nx series laptops are certified either by HP, Red Hat or
Novell to run Linux.
