Additionally you can use YaST2.
Click on System/System Service (Runlevel)
Then click on Expert Mode. At the top there is a pull-down menu under:
"Set default runlevel after booting to:"
This gives you the choice to set the default run levels if you do not want
to edit the /etc/inittab file yourself.
