Some very good questions-
We are a printing company. (but still, like you said, people are just about
giving them away) I can buy them cheaper than I can print them. Safety paper
isn't cheap. Or when in doubt, print what you want. The MICR numbers that
can get hairy.
You can get the checks that are on safety paper without numbers really cheap
"one up" with a stub or how ever you like. Staples has checks...CompUSA,
etc.

I would like to print the numbers when I print the check info on so if I
screw up one I can redo that number and not have a VOID in the register.

You would think with my wife working for a large bank, we would do our
checking on line... Lets just say, I know better and leave it at that...
(did you know some CHARGE for on-line banking?)

And it has nothing to do with her being paranoid. :|

Anyway, what can I say. I'm analog. :)
