Hi Carl,

Darn you were right!!!! I just re-linked the kernel and commented out the

# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG is not set

in .config and that seems to have solved the problem!!!

Much thanks for your help !!!!

Rgds. Otto.

Hi Carl,

You guessed wrong!! It is the plain vanilla kernel as delivered by suse.

Sorry, was just my first guess.

uname -a

Linux rentsch-asia 2.6.13-15.8-default #1 Wed Mar 29 01:28:03 SGT 2006
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Please run
zcat /proc/config.gz|grep CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG

That should result in
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG is not set

If so, please open a bug in SUSE bugzilla against the kernel with the
subject: "CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG enabled, but not set in .config"
and add kernel01@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx to the CC: list.

Regards,
Carl-Daniel
