I want to tell SuSe 8 sendmail 8, to use a domaintable, to set
DOIT.NV.GOV to doit.nv.gov, lower case. My spam blocker does not go for
upper case domain names

Sendmail stops/starts no problem, so the syntax should be correct.

Any thoughts? TIA.

/etc/mail/domaintable

DOIT.NV.GOV doit.nv.gov

cat /etc/mail/Sendmail.cf|grep

listserv3:/etc/mail # grep domaintable *.mc

sendmail.mc:FEATURE(`domaintable')dnl

sendmail.mc:dnl #feature(`domaintable',`dbm /etc/mail/domaintable')dnl

This is my /var/log/messages file, its still UPPER CASE:
