That is the problem. You no longer have /dev/usblp0-4, /dev/usbmouse, not /dev/usbscanner. Quick solution, open Yast, Software, Install and Remove Software, search for devs, click on it to change it to upgrade, and install. Longer solution, they were probably deleted by udevd. Make sure there is are lines usbmouse*:root:root:660
usblp*:root:lp:660
usbscanner*:root:root:660
in your /etc/udev/permissions.d/50-udev.permissions file. This should ensure these devices will not be deleted again (I think). HTH.
