I would like to know if there are any (apt or otherwise) sources
for xmame, Visualboyadvance etc. simulator engines' rpm for SuSE
9.1?

xmame-base rpm build for : SuSE 9.X
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/1614714/com/xmame-base-0.89-1.i586.rpm.html

Although, I didn't try it myself.

I am interested in multi-platform emulators whose Unix/Linux
version works as well as DOS/Windows version. Also, linux
versions which are distro-independent are preferred. The only one
I have already is Stella (Atari emulator) that has an .rpm
version which works with all rpm-based distributions and probably
can be converted to debian (.deb) and slackware (.tgz) packages
easily.

http://stella.sourceforge.net

I'll search for multi-platform emulators especially for Sega and
Super Nintendo when I get time. Please notify me if you found
something good.
