for both /var/log/messages & /var/log/warn.

Sample from `messages` (duplicated in `warn`):

</sample>

The system also eventually hangs, and I have to cold reboot. I already have
several gigabytes of log files from the last few days. This does not happen
at work, where there is no wireless network. I will boot to runlevel 3
tonight while I snooze to see if it happens then as well. There are no other
unusual messages in any logs. Only other thing I can think of is it tries to
load some toshiba laptop module at boot and start service (fxfnd??) (both of
these fail).

Gkrellm is saying I still have plenty of ram/swap when it locks up. The hard
drive seems to go to 100% about 1 sec before the machine locks.
It is generating about 1,000 lines/second of log messages for each of messages
and warn.

Anyone have any idea how to fix the cause of these log files and lock-ups?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. More info below.

Thanks.

Mark
