char major 212 is a DVB card, so it is checking to see if you have one, but
not finding a configured driver. If you don't have such a card, it's nothing
to worry about.

You can find a list of which character/block device nodes correspond to what
hardward in /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt (if you have the kernel
sources installed)
