Luis-M, just to let you know you are not the only one having this problem. I also am in a workgroup environment, and Network Browsing doesn't work. I have two 9.1 machines; one an upgrade from 9.0 and one a clean install. They both act exactly the same. smb:/ bombs.... - no browsing. smb://windows-sharename works fine.

Hi Ken,

Sorry to dissapoint you but my problems with Suse 9.1 and Samba/Network browsing are without a Domain.

It is inconceivable that Suse shipped this product in this state. It feels and looks a lot like M$ at this point. "Will ship now and fix it later as long as we get revenue in !".

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux
The problem is present only when connecting to a domain. The problem
doesn't exist when connecting to workgroup.
