Your attention is drawn to the warning notice at the end of this message.

I posted earlier that I had been getting the same message on my domain.

What worked for me was to use the desktop icon "network"(?) -> windows
network and clear the error message when it appears. Then select
settings -> Load view profile -> Midnight Commander and my domain

When I went back to the normal view (desktop icon "network" -> windows
network) this had stopped the error message appearing and I was able to
browse all my samba shares. I know this sounds a bit weird but this is
all I did and it now works consistently.

Hi Ken,

Sorry to dissapoint you but my problems with Suse 9.1 and Samba/Network
browsing are without a Domain.

It is inconceivable that Suse shipped this product in this state. It
feels and looks a lot like M$ at this point. "Will ship now and fix it
later as long as we get revenue in !".
