I'll start checking that each time I shutdown. I'll let you know if I see it
stop. (Then the fun part begins, right? WHY did it stop?) :)

Ooops, i was wrong - Powersave substitutes acpid in 9.1 .

So if /etc/init.d/powersaved shows a running status, id do not know...
