SuSE 9.0 with apt-get upgrades was recognizing the usb digital camera at
/dev/sda1 until the upgrade last weekend.

Now the usb system does not beep after camera is turned on.

YAST sees and identifies the camera, but I can't mount it:
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera
mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device

/var/log/messages shows:
kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:11.2-2, assigned address 12
kernel: usb.c: USB device 12 (vend/prod 0x4cb/0x112) is not
claimed by any active driver.
modprobe: modprobe: Can't open dependencies file
/lib/modules/2.4.21-202-athlon/modules.dep
(No such file or directory)

There is not a 2.4.21-202 directory, but now there is a -215 directory.
ls -l /lib/modules/2.4.21-_________
-215-athlon
-override-athlon

I just now did another apt-get upgrade to see if anything changed. There
was only one upgrade: SuSE/9.0-i386/update cvs 1.11.6-81 [518kB]

Where do I go from here?

TIA
