Hi

I have the following under /media

wallaby:/ # ls -la /media/
total 3
1 root root 0 May 17 17:18 cdrecorder
1 root root 0 May 17 17:18 dvdrecorder
1 root root 0 May 17 17:18 floppy
1 root root 0 May 17 16:19 ieee1394_sbp2-0030e010ee0c3856-0-1p1
1 root root 0 May 17 16:19 ieee1394_sbp2-0030e010ee0c3856-0-1p2
2 root root 1024 May 11 18:58 usb-storage-483141722528:0:0:0p1

How can I configure udev so that it gives me meaningful names
in /media

For example:
I'd like
"ieee1394_sbp2-0030e010ee0c3856-0-1p1"
to be always
"multimedia"

and
"ieee1394_sbp2-0030e010ee0c3856-0-1p2"
to be always
"extra"

Actually the same question would apply to usb-storage but I guess once
I understand how to do it for firewire devices it will be a piece of
cake for usb-storage devices.

Thanks.
