You didn't mean me ;)

And anyways, you maybe should not enable register_globals globally.

Rather use this in the apache config (httpd.conf.local, included via
/etc/sysconfig/apache*):

<Directory /path/to/where/I/need/globals>
# see http://www.zend.com/zend/art/art-sweat4.php (ampache doesn't work without, yet)
php_value register_globals 1
</Directory>
