NFS volumes at boot

I want to attach some NFS volumes at boot time. The client machine has the
following entry in /etc/fstab:

photon:/home /photon/home nfs rw 0 0

If I run su and manually type
mount /photon/home

the drive connects correctly. I've tried several combinations of options
beside rw, but the volume doesn't connect at boot, only if I do it manually.
What am I missing?
