Thanks very much, I ran the commands, then did a reboot. See below text:
ralph@unkitty:~> su
Password:
unkitty:/home/ralph2 # mkswap /dev/hda2
Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 419483648 bytes
unkitty:/home/ralph2 # swapon -a
unkitty:/home/ralph2 #
Upon rebooting no more error messages. Thanks very much.
