Thanks but still no luck. It says
Install the package, enable inetd to run it,. . .
I have the following line in etc/inetd.conf
ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd vsftpd
and I have rebooted. What I don't understand is the 'enable inetd to run it.
How do I get inetd to run it plese?
Steve.
