It's also worth checking out AbiWord (www.abiword.org SuSE RPMs from
www.usr-local-bin.org)

AbiWord's a lot lighter in terms of resources required than OO.o. The
current version 1.0.x doesn't support tables, but the next version 1.2.x
is under development, and it will, and it's looking really good.
