No, unfortunately it doesn't. SuSEconfig.groff is a bit broken in
SuSE Linux 7.3. It's fixed in SuSE Linux 8.0.

On SuSE Linux 7.3 just do:

echo 'a4' > /etc/papersize

Actually there is no difference whether you do that or not, it
avoids the "can't open `/etc/papersize'" message.
