How do i change the parmeters for syslog?

In the rc.d/syslog there is the following...

echo -n "Starting syslog services"
test -z "$KERNEL_LOGLEVEL" && KERNEL_LOGLEVEL=1
startproc /usr/sbin/syslogd $SYSLOGD_PARAMS || return=$rc_failed
sleep 1
startproc /usr/sbin/klogd -c $KERNEL_LOGLEVEL || return=$rc_failed
echo -e "$return"

Where does this "$SYSLOGD_PARAMS" come from? Do i add my new parameters
after "/usr/sbin/syslogd" but before "$SYSLOGD_PARAMS".

I want syslog to be able to execpt connetions from a remote machine and ai
think i have to add a "-r" to syslogd but not sure to add it.

Thanks

Look for the SYSLOGD_PARAMS in /etc/rc.config.
