Hi folks,

this is about burning data images using cdr version 1.8.1
and my teac cd-r55s

I have mkisofs'd an iso file with 718 MB - but when I start
cdrecord with usual settings it says:

Track 01: data 718 MB
Total size: 824 MB

Why now 824 MB when the image only takes 718 MB?

Now that I have burnt all that iso data, the cdrecord
returns loads of errors - see below.

So I compared the image with the burnt cd - and guess!
Even though cdrecords tells me that the burning has
failed, the files on cd equal 100% the image.
(diff showed NO differences!)

how come? are these error messages not somehow irritating?
or what do these msgs tell me?

cdredcord input/output error. teac_freeze: scsi_sendcmd:

cdrecord: fifo had 22982 puts and 22982 gets.
cdrecord: fifo was 0 times empty and 22846 times full,
min fill was 97%

my command was:
cdrecord dev=0,1,0 -v speed=2 -data ~/cd/image.iso

so how come that the cd is burnt 100% ok but cdrecord
complains all the time?

hope you can clear things up a little.
thanks ahead.

best regards!
