Hmmm someone got carried away with St Patrick's day. Guinness
is pretty strong stuff you know.

Not really. It's good for you. A nice session beer. If you want
something a little stronger try a nice imperial stout.

Guinness is OK, as long as it's properly served; which means
*freshly* poured and cool, not cold. But there are any number of
better stouts, IMO.

The Carlow Brewing Company (http://www.carlowbrewing.com/home.htm)
does a *very* good stout - O'Hara's (voted the world's best stout
in 2000).

The Porter House (in Dublin, Cork and London)
(http://www.porterhousebrewco.com/) do some very good stouts as
well; Oyster Stout and Plain Porter.

O'Hanlon's (in London) also do a very good home-produced Port Stout.

Try any of them, if you get the chance; they do show Guinness up
for what it is; the stout equivalent of Coors.

cheers,

Gideon.
