I have been experimenting with some CPU coolers and am a little concerned
about the "thermal paste residual" around the core. I am certain that this
hardens and minimizes the cooling efficiency of subsequent coolers.?!?
Is there a safe / recommended way to remove this residual when swopping
coolers??

TIA,

Bye.
