Further to previous answers, provided you make sure that your partitions
don't get too full (stay below about 90%), you shouldn't get any significant
fragmentation problems, because it's been designed out of the ext2 file
system. You may want to leave a little more free space on the partitions
with high activity - /home, /var, /tmp, etc.
