Bernard,

I tried to link libXpm_wx.so to libXpm.so.4 and this is what I get:

jozien:/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib# ls -l libXpm*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Jul 27 15:42 libXpm.so ->
libXpm.so.4.10
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Jul 27 15:42 libXpm.so.4 ->
libXpm.so.4.10
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 53516 Nov 8 1999 libXpm.so.4.10
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Jul 27 15:42 libXpm_wx.so ->
libXpm_wx.so.1.67
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 65400 Nov 8 1999 libXpm_wx.so.1.67

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
jozien:/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib# ln -s libXpm_wx.so libXpm.so.4
ln: libXpm.so.4: File exists

There is a link to libXpm.so.4. Should I delete the link? What happens to
libXpm.so.4.10?

I have another problem:

jozien:/opt/wp8/wpbin#

I tried this in a terminal window:

jozien@jozien:~$ /opt/wp8/wpbin/xwp &

jozien@jozien:~$ bash: /opt/wp8/wpbin/xwp: No such file or directory

[1]+ Exit 127 /opt/wp8/wpbin/xwp
jozien@jozien:~$ ./xwp
bash: ./xwp: No such file or directory
jozien@jozien:~$ sh /opt/wp8/wpbin/xwp
/opt/wp8/wpbin/xwp: /opt/wp8/wpbin/xwp: cannot execute binary file
jozien@jozien:~$

I have shlibs5 installed from SuSE 6.3 and I am using:

ftp://ftp.linux.com/pub/mirrors/caldera/old-products/col2.2/col/install/RPMS/WordPerfect-8.0-7.i386.rpm

I have these same problems in both libranet 1.9.1 and SuSE 7.1
