I've just installed the rpms from When I start KDE,
however, I get a message saying KDE could not register with the DCOP
server and then KDE stops loading.

Actually the error message is

Could not read network connection list

Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!

There is no mention of this in the SDB. Someone asked about it last
month, but I didn't find a satisfactory solution. Any suggestions?
