Hi,

cgoncalves has pointed out on #zypp that the command quoted in
openSUSE-SU-2010:0902-1, https://hermes.opensuse.org/messages/5701081
does not work on 11.3 (with latest zypper-1.4.8-0.2.1.i586):

# zypper in -t patch kernel-3396
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
'patch:kernel-3396' not found in package names. Trying capabilities.
No provider of 'patch:kernel-3396' found.
Resolving package dependencies...

Nothing to do.

It works if the equal sign is used:

# zypper in -t patch kernel=3396
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
'patch:kernel = 3396' is already installed.
Resolving package dependencies...

Nothing to do.

Kernel seems to be the only patch affected, for all released
versions. Other patches, even with multiple versions, are fine.

IMHO the announcement does not need amendment, but zypp people might
want a Bugzilla entry, right?
