It can be done when adding a repository by adding query parameters to repo 
URL, approximately like this:

http://some.repository.url/pub/openSUSE/11.1?proxy=some.proxy.url&proxyuser=tux&proxypassword=penny

(don't know if this is 100% correct, as I never used it myself either, we just 
advised this as a workaround in certain proxy-related bug I dealt with in the 
past)
