Ok, I'll try to repeat this after getting some sleep..;-) but no one has
observed this behaviuor before ? it happends very frecuently, happended
today with mysql from update/10.3-test and a few days ago with the
KDElibs update , currenly I have 106 -32bit packages installed, many of
those being pulled from the patches repo by updates..

It can be the same issue that I had very first time I wanted to update KDE4.
Problem was some 32 bit package that YaST could not get rid of. The message
produced by YaST wasn't clear ie. did not give name of the installed package
that prevents installation of 64 bit version so I manually marked for removal
package by package until I found culprit and it was 32 bit version of
libkde4.

Here is the message:
http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse-factory/2007-10/msg00362.html
and then it continues:
http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse-factory/2007-11/msg00100.html

I never installed 64 bit version again so I wasn't able to produce zypper
testcase as Stephan asked, back in November.
