There's also http://en.opensuse.org/Libzypp/Application_Layer which
has some more information, I don't know anything else about it though.
I'm somewhat concerned about the magnitude of changes in API for 11,
as I've been using it for a personal project.
The application layer is mostly about a _new_ layer, you can still do hard
