They have something in common, they are databases, but one is a local cache
and the other a software catalog. They dont need to store the dependencies
for example.
Things we can adopt:
- caching screenshots (or we get them on demand?)
- caching tags (useful for searching)
We are facing the same problems of SCM designers, at some point we will need
a "smart" server, for metadata.
