This or the next version (built today) should be made public. (I have disabled webyast-head-obs-submit in Hudson for today so that we have more control of what is in the build service.)
It looks good enough, so now 0.0.13 is published here: (223MB) http://www.suse.de/~mvidner/webyast-beta1/WebYaST_on_SLES11.i686-0.0.13.vmx.... http://www.suse.de/~mvidner/webyast-beta1/WebYaST_on_SLES11.i686-0.0.13.vmx.... (gpg --verify WebYaST*.asc) Yay!
USAGE: 1. Run the appliance In the 1st run, accept the SLES EULA 2. Point the browser to port 54984 (**) Select the "localhost" item, Log in as root, with password linux 3. Go through the base setup (time and language)
GENERAL NEWS: - Changed the ports to 54984 (UI, provisional) and 4984 (REST, final). Because of bnc#545627, the FIREWALL is DISABLED (TODO re-enable) - Pointed repositories to external servers (nu.novell.com for SLES and OBS for WebYaST) - Removed the unfinished security module (Firewall/SSH) - Added the WebYaST logo to the appliance - Removed autologin of user "tux"
MODULE SPECIFIC NEWS: - (Maintainers, please reply to this if you want to point out something)
KNOWN BUGS:
- Time setting does not work. It is only fixed in yast2-webservice-time-0.0.5 which has not built fast enough to be included (sorry, Pepa). http://git.opensuse.org/?p=projects/yast/rest-service.git;a=commitdiff;h=eb4...
