If there is data in the tag itself it makes parsing a bit harder. So I would
suggest to just use a series of value tags with the datetime as attribute:
<value dateTime="2009-07-13T18:01Z">8.9377540389e+08</value>
<value dateTime="2009-07-14T18:01Z">9.9377540389e+08</value>
