Hi Jiri,
I hope it is not too late for two more comments:
Not at all :-)
First, we might extend the text styleguide also to cover helps, in particular emphasizing paragraph titles. I think that this is important especially for proofreaders, since helps are a major part of all texts.
Currently the style guide content about help is: http://en.opensuse.org/YaST/Research/YaST_Style_Guide/Draft/YaST/Development... Is help also covered by a library? (couldn't find one on http://forgeftp.novell.com/yast/doc/SL11.1/modules/ or http://forgeftp.novell.com/yast/doc/SL11.1/tdg/Book-UIReference.html) What would be necessary to mention in the style guide? (e.g. use meaningful paragraph titles or something?, font properties?)
Second, regarding Configuration Wizard dialog:
Ouch! You are right. That was a mistake (and just another good example why it makes sense to be careful when dealing with copy & paste :-) I changed the passage in the wizards to: "Cancel - Closes the window and returns to the overview." And added the phrase about Cancel and Close behavior to the general layout section: "If the user presses "Cancel" or "Close" in the window decoration the module is closed. If the user made some changes, a warning pop up appears, which asks the user, if he really wants to discard his changes. " What about necessary changes in YaST libraries? Should I put them into FATE? The two changes I can think of are: * to make ConfirmAbort look like http://en.opensuse.org/Image:Ysg_discarding_changes.png * replacing "Abort" label with "Cancel" in wizardycp Thanks and cu, Martin -- Martin Schmidkunz User Experience Specialist martin.schmidkunz@novell.com +49 (0) 911 740 53-346 ----------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Novell, Inc.
