I measured in a slit between heatsink and card (Gigabyte Radeon HD 5750 Silent
Cell):

Windows XP out of gear:                38 degree Celsius
Windows XP after 30 min. Warcraft III: 52 degree Celsius
Linux*) out of gear:                   61 degree Celsius

*) Fedora 14, Ubuntu 10.04, openSuse 11.0, openSuse 11.3(2.6.34.7-0.5),
openSuse 11.3(2.6.36-1.1)
