I would *assume* that you should try with a newer kernel. This very much
looks like a broken radeon kernel module, and there had been quite some
changes lately.
I (think) i am using the latest :
- FreeBSD 8.0-Release-P2
- KDE 4.3.5
- Xorg 7.4
- xf86-video-radeonhd-1.3.0_1
You checked everything but the kernel version...
I suggest you go at least with a 2.6.32 kernel.
