The screen draws in chunks instead of the smoothness before upgrading to 2.6.33 and the card drivers from https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/drivers-only. I seem to get the same results when using XAA or even ShadowFB. I am following the instructions from https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RadeonHD to get desirable 3D performance, and my 2D seems to have taken a hit. Please let me know what would be the best steps to take.
