Hi everybody, before there gets more confusion/logs/try&error/bug reports etc.. regarding HDMI audio on the RV730 and probably also the RV710 and chipset: I can confirm that it's currently not supported. So far for the bad news, the really god news is that one of the users (Andrew) was able to get some audio out of its configuration with an RV730 chipset, by comparing fglrx and radeonhd register values. This hack still has some limitations (setting the resolution to something like 1024x768 for example), but it's really a step in the right direction. So just be patient, it's just a matter of my free time until i figured out what's making the RV7xx chipset different compared to the R6xx chipset. And you guys get a patch for radeonhd as soon as i have it ready.
