  prusnak has confirmed this; see at the OpenSuse most annoying bugs
(http://suse.elstel.com/qa). 
  He is right: in a fact my screen is not black but very very dark (If I darken
my room I can see something.). However increasing the backlight does not
improve things at me.
  confirmed for xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd-1.2.5_20090914_37ccdde-1.4.
