http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23395 Summary: Using Option "HPD" "off" switched off HDMI TV Product: xorg Version: unspecified Platform: x86 (IA32) OS/Version: Linux (All) Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: low Component: Driver/radeonhd AssignedTo: lverhaegen@suse.de ReportedBy: karsten@hayn.info QAContact: xorg-team@lists.x.org On http://www.x.org/wiki/radeonhd#head-d2ffccb02dd625f846dd8197bad71ee38109b876... it is stated to always report when HPD is needed to use a monitor. My Monitor (Samsung LE26B350 26 inch TV with HDMI) does work well, when switched before the start of X11. If it is switched on later I need to restart gdm and kill some failsafe X11 processes. By using HPD off it does work. I have Ubuntu 8.10 running on a system using amd g780 as chipset with the monitor attached to the onboard hdmi. I can send more logs if needed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
