This is bad. I have no clue what's going on here.
To help me validate the issue, can you please run 'conntest' like
described in the ReadMe? That is, once without any monitor attached,
once with the monitor attached over VGA, once with the monitor attached
over the adapter to DVI.
In addition, run conntest once with *only* the adapter (but no monitor)
attached. I assume you don't have access to a DVI capable display,
because that would be interesting as well.
