I put the Archlinux drive back in the laptop and I have logged out

any lockups the past 2-3 times. It looks like whatever is causing the lockup
in my case is intermittent. (I know that doesn't help solve it, but I thought
I would pass it along)

What do you mean by "level of radeonhd" that I'm running?
Maybe I give some more details:
radeonhd from git 20090507
version of my libdrm is 2.4.9
This is my device section in xorg.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "ATIRADEON3650"
Driver "radeonhd"
#Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" "true"
Option "AccelMethod" "exa"
Option "DRI" "On"
EndSection
If I comment out "Option DRI On" everything is ok but I dont have
acceleration I can't watch movies, everything is refreshing very slowly.
To my mind the problem is in dri support. Xorg.0.log doesn't give any
interesting information however. I pasted it below:
What happens after X crash? Does it restart automaticly? If so, your
Xorg.0.log applies to new (restarted, working) X session. In such a
case you shold post your Xorg.0.log.old.
Rafał,
Here is the fatal server error experienced on logout with the downclock
branch:
