understood. Is there a release of xf86-video-ati/radeon that has the fix?
I might stick with that for a while, radeonhd still has some issues for me
(from time to time I get a NMI - "uh oh..dazed and confused.." and after that
either the mouse cursor is severely damaged -a big thumb size rectangle-, or
the system freezes hard - don't know if it's related to the bug we're
discussing here).
